Show of hands... who here bought a Xiaomi Redmi note and will never get another Xiaomi phone again?

me. Nothing to say on the device itself when it first came out (and my wife happily using it) but I thought it would have been better taken care of by MIUI developers. Honestly speaking before the boom xiaomi had landing into international markets we all believed every week got new rom. Reality is way far off this

Nowadays there are so many competitors in all the market segments xiaomi has their devices that you are spoilt for choices

me, but that's because it's good enough for me for the foreseeable future

it still works as intended la, to me. just that the wait for miui v6 is kind of irritating, but if the phone works, the phone works.

Must see how much they are pricing their Redmi Note 2. If it is still around 229, then I'll probably buy that if my current redmi note 3g happen to spoil. It is hard to find other model at similar quality and price. However, I wouldn't consider buying their higher price model...

Mi3 at 299 is considered very good, but they never made is available at Singapore anymore.. Don't bother saying about Mi4, it won't make it to Singapore I think.. If we're lucky, we'll see Mi Note, but I doubt many will buy, at that kind of price, you'll have many other brand to choose from..

MiUI is overrated. I only consider Xiaomi if the price is decent (ie below $300).
They need to learn that Singaporean is very sensitive with price change.. Look at the powerbank. Only $5 increase, then nobody buy it already.. plenty of stock.
