not really. samsung export version aka koran version like s3 de, stillgot manage to kitkat lor but sgp version de, till now no sound no picture no breathe.

Tempted to buy.. but the seller like no reliable.. many DOA sets based on the review....

edit: nevermind.. not worth it.. even local 2nd hand set LTE can be obtained around $250..

Um.. mine was rooted also. I just downloaded the new zip rom, go to update, and perform manual update using the zip file. But I mine was still the original recovery. So I'm not sure about yours.

Hello everyone!

I need some help here.
i bought my redmi on mi official web last year.

and i have bought a 32GB Class 10 Sandisk Micro SD for my redmi. i wanted to transfer files into my phone but have permission problems. i have tried it using cable and using FTP.
but the following problems occured so i hope to seek some help here.
I have some questions

1) When i connect my redmi through cable to my desktop. My phone doesn't appear in "My computer". May i know how to solve it? My desktop is running on windows XP.

2) I could copy pictures into my phone. but im having troubles copying music into my phone as they kept prompting that i do not have permission. May i know how do i bypass this problem? i have tried formatting my SD in the phone but it doesn't help.

3) I also have recently updated the system to the new MIUI. but i cant type korean in swiftkey or read korean on the website.

can someone help? i really got so frustrated over this. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE :)

For my desktop, it sometimes appear and at times doesn't, so I installed the Redmi utility and it should work but mine is chinese version, not sure any english version available...

Just to check, after upgraded to latest version, starhub tv anywhere unable to detect the phone, able to install on previous version...anyone here install before ?..thanks

If you have problem getting your phone recognized by the pc, try to unlock the phone. It works for me. Looks like MiUI sometimes cause the phone to be in deeper sleep mode.
