8am: finished the mini-Snake que at Padang, now walking towards Singapore river.
I'm glad I came at 6.30am, looking back now, Padang is definitely jammed pack to the max at the moment.

8:35am now just inside the real 'Snake' que at NDP floating plaform.
If u thought the que is huge at padang, wait till u arrive here. It's incredibly packed and stuffy. More crowded than New year countdown.

9:35am FINALLY REACHED Parliament House. It's faster than i thought

Normal queue is left lane. Priority is right lane. I was keeping close to the right in the normal queue so that I can be closer to the casket. But I forgot I have to move to the right queue. But the time I realised it, it was too late, I can't move to the right lane anymore.

Update... I left the queue after the officials say need another 4 to 5 hours walk after that 1 hour wait at the Padang... Cos late for class if I stayed on... Probably going again for my 4th attempt after my class end around 5... Luckily I managed to have 1 successful attempt on my first attempt on Wednesday...

give other people a chance la... u queue and queue so many times, others who haven't had a chance to see him yet get stuck with 8-10hr queues and end up giving up because of repeat queue-ers like u....

I was at the second row most right hand side. First row is the priority queue I think, saw a lot of old folks.. only saw the silver foil in the casket. I'm not very tall though, about 1.7m.
