Guys,

Saw tradepac prices of parts are generally much lower than other shops...is there any catch to it?

Want to confirm if the warrenty of parts are by distro locally?

Just need to take note of distro stickers when purchasing right?

Thx

They sell stuffs that are all from local distro. Of cause there is export sets IF YOU ASKED for it. Else it will be local sets.

Yes certain stuffs will have distro stickers on it.

GPU, MOBO, RAM, Chassis, PSU will have distro stickers on it. The rest no.

And all will be opened seal. There is no closed seals in it. Not the retailers fault nor the distro fault. They will break the seal in order to push in a warranty card updated batch numbers.

Next is the price they sell. It is listed pricing and you will get it so long as you are buying a full rig. Not partial PC.

Yes they are cheap as they do not charge GST to customers. Their receipt is charge under Best Value Computers rather than tradepac. If you request them to open tradepac official receipt, they will charge you a 7% gst and indicated on the receipt the GST number and charges accordingly.

Sorry to bump this thread, but since we are at this topic, may I know if it is better to buy a Gt970 separately from Lazada sales or buy it altogether from Tradepac for a good deal?

Single item as of now. Lazada with coupon code is good deal.

what about getting mobo+ cpu and psu from them ?

From tradepac? No. They will charge you extra $30 more for the mobo+cpu combo.

Lazada dont have much things to choose for mobo and cpu.

30$ extra from the list price still ok to buy ?

Depends on whether you find the price acceptable? If not convinced, you are always welcome to shop around SLS and price compare. See if there is another shop that offers you a better price for the same thing?

Common sense? But many have commented in the past that even with the extra surcharge, it is usually still the cheapest in SLS.

In the end, it is better you make up your own mind.
