This evening suddenly lost reception.
On/off airplane mode also no use.
Need to restart phone to get back

singtel user right? as usual.

I on singnet wifi cannot find so i switch to data and it was able to detect an update, then changed back to wifi to update.

Can try this method.

Does this solve the TouchID bug? On 8.2, the sensor always got error. Sometimes I have to key in my password bcos TouchID failed to unlock my phone

Wifi feels faster. Websites load faster. Will monitor too see whether the disconnection problem still exist.

Finallty decided to enable iCloud Photo Library. Flipped the switch to on yesterday but till now, no backups are occurring. I have been on Wifi all these while. ANything else I missed out? How to get the photos moving? My iCloud storage has more than enough space.

Rightfully it will upload when you are connected to Wi-Fi. I found you can force it to upload when you keep the photos app open.

Uploading is pretty fast. BTW you can check the upload progress at the settings page where you enable iCloud.

no 'no sim card installed' error just no reception

need to reset phone to get back reception

i think the reason why singtel block the update is because i've ever encountered the update is being downloaded to the phone. when i checked the usage statistics, i saw a 500mb ios 8.2 update there so maybe telco block to prevent data usage?
