i still cant figure out how to fully wipe my mipad even though i followed this

174543id51b0a5b5n4o1cn.jpg.thumb.jpg

Wipe Cache - Deletes the cached system files (do it if you suspect your ROM is corrupted, or you want to flash new or same ROM)

Wipe User Data - Deletes the User Data (do it if you suspect your data is causing issue to your ROM)

Wipe All Data - Deletes User Data and Apps Data (do it if wiping cache and User Data doesn't solve your ROM issue)

Wipe SD Card - Returns your Internal Storage partition to default folders and files

i tried the below steps:

Download the file Update_CWM_recovery_MiPad_6.0.5.0.zip to your PC
Connect your Mi Pad via USB to PC
Copy the file Update_CWM_recovery_MiPad_6.0.5.0.zip to the folder 'Computer\MI PAD\Internal storage' (root folder of internal storage)
Disconnect your Mi Pad properly from USB ('Safely Remove Hardware...')
Launch the Updater app, from the menu choose 'Select update package' and from Internal storage select the file Update_CWM_recovery_MiPad_6.0.5.0.zip
Your recovery will now get updated and when finished you need to confirm to reboot
For checking after the reboot you can now reboot into CWM recovery by starting the Updater app again and choosing from the menu 'Reboot to Recovery mode'

But receive an error message saying "Update failed. Can't update at the moment. Touch "OK" to report this error to our engineers.

Anyone has similar issues?

You can follow this step to get to recovery mode
Power off your mipad
Press power button and volume up button together and release after you see mi logo

To clarify, did you mean to rename the file to update.zip in root folder and update through recovery mode?
