I tested, its on random occasions.

I have managed to draw 1.35A from the Samsung Note Edge Charger. Its not always. Its random.

That includes the Anker charger to.

:s22:

I think must find the original charger.

WHERE TO GET ORIGINAL CHARGER?

x defiantly support quick charge.. My orico charger can do 1.7A anytime... anker is sometime can 1.8A and sometime just stay at 0.5A... my xiaomi powerbank 10400mah can do 1.8~ 2.1A anytime:s22:

Quick charge is not by the Ampheres of output.

Thats what i just realise yesterday. Its the voltages that went up to 7.5V and 1.8A on my Note Edge. Thats the criteria for all Snapdragon CPU from 400 onwards will support fast charge 2.0.

7.5V*1.8A ~ 13.5W this is extremely fast charge.

Those power bricks like Anker or any other brands do not have Qualcomm certifications will only output high currents, but lesser volts.

Give you 1.8A * 5.2V ~ 9.36W at max. This is normal charge actually.

Heres a pic of Voltages from my note edge. However the Crystal non X cant utilize fast charge on Samsung charger and will max draw 1.35A * 5.3V ~ 7.1W.

I believe Softbank fast charge 2.0 charger will pull even higher wattage.

X supports fast charge. The only thing why is it slow charging is because at times its charging at only 500mA.

The only thing that will help charge faster is an adaptive certified fast charging adapter.

The one that benny posted is an example of qualcomm fast charge 2.0.

That charger will be charging ither non X or X phones faster.

I used the Sony charger I had that I used with Z1 Compact. Managed 1.38A and 5.18V

Yeap thats normal charging.

If fast charge ones it will pull higher voltages.

And its more successful to pull 1.3A with a wall charger over those multi port chargers.

Another way to charge it will be using xoaomi powerbanks. 16000mAh is using the 2nd port to output slightly more amps.

Any way i will try buy a qualcomm certified charger and see whether will it do a fast charge. Will update here soon if i get hold of it.

Is it auto power saving feature. Did it affect your background data connection like emails etc?
