I could not find an earlier thread on this. Anyway, anyone using this card? How's the reference model vs the non reference one?

Not sure if there's some restriction in discussing about this gpu. But if mods cannot allow it, feel free to delete it.

The main thing is temp. AFAIK, reference cooler is know to keep temp at max of 95C and throttle. Ref cooler is not really noisy unless you manually adjust the fan speed, but speed will throttle.

To keeps the temps down you need to ramp up the cooler. Ref cooler is really noisy.

You can always get the ref version and mount a custom cooler yourself. I myself have a ref 290 with arctic cooling xtreme iii mounted. Max load temps at 63C and absolutely no noise at all.

How much did the cooler cost bro? Will the shop install it too or do you have to do that yourself?

Locally powergamers used to sell. Not sure if they still have the relevant accelero models. Check them out at blue forum or fb.

Btw amazon does have the accelero models. Can ship to sg.

You fix the cooler yourself. No issues as long as you follow the instructions. Make sure the fittings are secured and not loose.

Just take note some distro might void warranty if the sticker on the screw is tampered with. Just a heads up...
