1.3ghz/512 Silver, ETA 6 MAY- 13 May
I finally received an SMS showing last night at 7pm saying my CC got charged. So should be able to receive my MBr by next week![]()
You should able to get it at NuBox. I just bought the USB-C to USB Adapter @NuBox Bedok.anyone knows where (physical store) to buy the USB adapter?
Your experience is quite different from ALL the tech reviews I've read so far.Tried typing on it.
That's no feedback (aka no sound of key pads being depressed) and will hurt when one types quickly.
Opening apps is slower compared to other macs.
Better wait for a few more versions later for Apple to refine it.

Btw AppleSg online store for USB-C cable and power adapter are all in-stock except for those Multiport adapters (3-5 weeks).
EpiCentre might just have it. They are usually ahead of NuBox I think.Your experience is quite different from ALL the tech reviews I've read so far.
Mostly are favorable. Only common gripe is the single USB-C port and some concerning the newly design keyboard (having to get used to it, nothing about operational issues) and the base unit of 1.1 GHz may be slow for more intensive tasks like heavy video and photo editing and also some games. Otherwise for daily tasks it's excellent.
Here's a review to read: http://blog.laptopmag.com/12-inch-macbook-myths
My personal test (demo unit) so far has been very good as far as the keyboard and Force Touch trackpad usage are concerned. And I have no issue with the speed of opening the apps. It's definitely NOT slower. As far as I know, it's SDD speed is even faster than the competition.
So if you can afford and you need it or want it, go ahead and buy. But if you can wait then why not? Next version should be better and cheaper. As for me, I need it and want it. So I've already ordered 1.3GHz.
Nex challenger has one 1.2ghz gold
I called at 12 and the guy said they didn't have any! :/
of course its weak if you are comparing it to a macbook pro 2015. its like comparing a toyata to a ferrari and saying the toyota is weak? if its used for basic stuff such as browsing, email, music and some youtube, i supposed its more than enough.
simply, if you are looking at running northsouth highway at a speed of 250km/h, obviously you dont get a toyota. (a toyota without radiator somemore)
and technology breakthrough have to start somewhere. first gen macbook air had only 1 usb port and no cdrom drives.
importing 20gb worth of photos in the new photo app on the macbook 2015 indeed took me a significant amount of time more as compared to macbook air 2013. however converting a 30min video clip using xilisoft took me 5min as compare to a 15min on a macbook air 2013.
Frankly speaking, some of us prefer a machine with retina, slim and light weight machine and don't need a mbp for high cpu intensive apps. Seriously it's each of its own. If can afford it then buy. All of us here are mature enough to know what we want. Don't have to come here to justify ur own purchase and divide the forum. If you have the mbp retina 2015 or MacBook retina just enjoy it. Nobody is denying the mbp retina is a very powerful machine. However some people just dun need to such a powerful machine.

But the processor has been shown to be not powerful enough for simple applications like chrome.
And it has like 6 hr battery life.
The ux305 or dell xps 13 are better picks.
This one looks like a fast netbook with a high end screen.
