haha. quite true. think 16gb with no sd slot really not enough for most. For me i don't consume a lot of media. so i can live with 16gb. I actually quite impressed with the Mi 4i sia. When i play with the Zenfone 2 in carrier store, the first impression was that this is a cheap phone. The Mi 4i build is nice sia. When i took the phone out and hold it in my hands, reminds me of the iPhone 5C. the fact that it's a 5" phone appeals to me too. haha don't like big phones. Oh.. and DAT SCREEN!!! Someone compared the mi 4 and mi 4i side by side, and the mi 4i display is better. First time i'm like really impressed with a Xiaomi phone. :s13:

Good to hear that you're loving your Mi 4i! I quite like the design and everything, but the make is xiaomi, so I'm holding my horses first! Truth to be told I'm actually Miphobic... But 16GB of internal memory with no sd card slot is the deal breaker for me as I will dump quite a lot of media into my phone so 16GB is a big no no.

got rumours that they are bringing in another one with larger capacity. actually the design is pretty much similar to the nubia z7 mini.

Haha. I was a bit apprehensive about their products previously actually (still am actually). Have used the Redmi 1, Redmi Note Dual sim, and the Redmi Note 4G. To me they are cheap for a reason. Like the build quality, the less-polished OS. And I still prefer stock android. :s13: which is why i'm a bit surprised that the Mi 4i is actually pretty decent. :s13:

Yeah. they've been replying on facebook that they are considering? but i think won't be so soon. If they will launch higher capacity I think they might do it in India first? Also if they launch so quickly, wouldn't that piss the people who bought from the first few batches off? haha. Think they will want to clear some stocks too, unless they plan to sell both side by side. but higher capacity is definitely welcomed!!!

I am curious why you consider Redmi 2 terrible. For me, it exceeds all my expectations. Well, maybe I am not a heavy user. Some apps start a bit slow but it's not a deal breaker. I replaced its back cover with a much stylish one bought from Taobao and it looks really gorgeous. ;) I brought Redmi 2 along with me overseas and people there just couldn't believe that it costs only $169. Btw, its 4G worked fine without a glitch during my oversea trips. ;)

Actually I am now feeling guilty for placing the order for Mi4i since I just got Redmi 2 just a month ago...

I see. Now I am feeling better ordering Mi4i. Thanks.

By the way, for the delayed Whatsapp message, you might want to try the following:

1. Launch the SECURITY app in the MORE APPS group
2. In the Security app, choose PERMISSION
3. Select AUTOSTART
4. Find WHATSAPP in the list and turn ON the switch.
