Actually I get pleasant surprises about once a quarter. Love this card
hahaha, -ve surprises lah, like delayed receipt of rebate, no rebate or less rebate, clawback, hahaha
statement quarter, rebate month (this is my complacency admittedly), paying bill into supp card doesnt count to principal (kenna charge interest), u dont hv bill in ur principal card during rebate month they withheld ur rebate.. thats a few for me.
It is vital to ask when is the 1st cycle eg 15th April to 15 June or 15thMay to 15July.
The $800 u spent so far may not fall eactly in the 1st or 2nd monthly bill

i called and it'sbecause yesterday CSO never explained to me in details abt my rebate and statement. today this CSO said my statement for this mth, May was 23th but since i changed it ytd to 15th of every mth, so the 1st statement i will receive is next month 15 June!! wah lao....
and she said my 1st cycle is apr, may, june. so it will be pro rated. abt $26 for $800 spent. how they get $26??
I decided to leave mine too.Better not mess around with changing statement date. Messy and leads to misunderstanding.

Yes. Posting date is your worst enemy. Even 3 days may not be safe.

I'm doing the same thing too. easier to manage.I went ahead to change the billing cycle to start on the 2nd of each month. This is because I want this to be as close as possible to the spending requirement for the ONE account. It would be easier to reconcile the two.

I changed mine to the end of the month, which syncs with uob one account.

anyone applied uob one card by placing a $10,000 fixed deposit with UOB? What is the minimum period to place the FD with UOB to get the credit card approve? Thank you!
Its best that you call UOB and speak to the CSO. Sometimes I get confused too!Does changing the statement date affect your 3.33% cash rebate for the card?
