Someone asked what is a homage, so I shared my understanding of how it's understood in the watch world. You may disagree, and if so you certainly have fair grounds since anyone can debate what is the acceptable level of imitation before something is considered a homage, an imitation, a replica, whatever. Heck, if you want to debate the broader philosophy of all life being imitation, go right ahead.
The point, however, is simply that full-on 1-to-1 imitation is no longer a homage. It's a counterfeit. Some people on the replica watch forums may disagree, but I think that's no longer a discussion about shades of gray, but trying to distinguish shades of black.
