I actually know someone in SZ who can get it for me. Under the impression that this would be the cheapest.

Swiss watches are actually not the cheapest in Switzerland. Due to exchange rate and VAT/GST issues. And residents can't claim tax back, I.e. only for tourists or if the watch is exported.

Homage - no one in the watch world can agree on the term homage.
If one is so concern with homage watch, our Burberry also pay homage to Lacoste design. Designer still put in the effort to come up with a design no? A lot of watches may homage to Rolex invention of wrist watch too. Pocket watches then? Just because we have IP or trade mark today abuse today no cool but ok back then? Or back then ppl not so shallow? They have better things to do? Worry?

Someone asked what is a homage, so I shared my understanding of how it's understood in the watch world. You may disagree, and if so you certainly have fair grounds since anyone can debate what is the acceptable level of imitation before something is considered a homage, an imitation, a replica, whatever. Heck, if you want to debate the broader philosophy of all life being imitation, go right ahead.

The point, however, is simply that full-on 1-to-1 imitation is no longer a homage. It's a counterfeit. Some people on the replica watch forums may disagree, but I think that's no longer a discussion about shades of gray, but trying to distinguish shades of black.

I only wear my watches on off days. Currently have a three hand day date by Seiko, ecodrive perpetual calendar dual time by Citizen, el primero chonomaster 1969 by Zenith. My next one will be targeted at $10,000 - $40,000. Considering annual calendar function or those big date function. I like the look of the big dates/day. Don't think I will want another chrono cos the function quite useless in my daily life. I don't wear suit or formal wear. Causal only, can recommend some watches? So far, all my watches are non-sporty,yet not true dress watch too. Small wrist, biggest I can wear is 42mm.
