Hi need some advice from pc experts :(

My PC have been BSOD-ing once a week on average but when I check with bluescreenviewer there is no dump files recorded. When the BSOD come up i saw ntfs.sys was causing the error. Sometimes its something else which I cant remember.

At first I thought it might be SSD faulty, so I used Seatools to scan my silicon power s60 SSD but returned with no errors.

Now running Prime95 for 12 hours with no errors too. So what may be the problem? Is it motherboard (Gigabyte H97N-WIFI) faulty?? :(

thanks for the link.

I didnt change any settings for pagefile. This is default, is it correct? However i do not see any pagefile type file in my c:\\windows folder? :s11:

I also set it to small memory dump instead of kernel dump.

4) Drive controller failure, the problem lies with the HDD itself or the onboard IDE/SATA controller failed. Such failure are not restricted to the drive/onboard controller alone, poor or faulty IDE/SATA cable can result in missing minidump even though the system configured to create minidump.

Is there anyway to test the SSD for the above fault?

hmm ur settings look correct, so could be (4). guessing ntfs.sys is a clue that the os subsequently can't write minidump to ssd? but short of cloning to spare ssd/hdd, i dunno how to trbshoot.

hope some1 can chime in. in meantime, maybe u can try another sata cable, another sata port, update ssd firmware (tricky?), and untick auto restart when bsod (so that u can take pic of bsod screen details)...

gd luck
