Thank you!
I kinda lost confidence in him as i failed my F8 twice.
But maybe the problem is myself.
So i shall try my p1 paper with him.
Hope it all goes well.
Thanks Fliks
i had the opportunity to attend his f8 class back then when he was still lecturing at SAA. Although the class is 3 hours, sometimes he will end 30 mins or 1 hour earlier if he completes the topics he needed to cover for that day. I used to worry/panic and thought that he did not cover the full syllabus and was just like other lecturers rushing to finish everything quickly so that they can end the class early.
But 5 lessons later, i found out that i was more comfortable and learnt better with his approach. he does not use bombastic words or make the lecture dull and dry. instead, he constructs sentences using very simple words to make students (even foreign students) find it easy to understand. the difference lies in the experience that AP Chee has and he relates such experiences to what he is teaching in class so you can easily remember, understand and explain if you chance upon such questions in exam. not every lecturer has a sense of humour and going to a lesson where a lecturer just teaches for the sake of teaching is way boring to me.
you'll be surprised by how humble and professional mr chee is before/during/after class. he is really dedicated and committed to classes he conducts for students.
for those who have failed certain papers, please do not give up and keep trying irregardless of which lecturer you had previously took. remind yourself why you took this path in the first place. good luck.
