Your point about this:
3) Changing the ruling party will result in a change in policies, it will cause financial instability and plans put into action since long ago will be derailed.
It's like saying that the new MRT lines will stop construction if the Opposition takes over PAP as the new government
#PAPsupporterslogic
That is not what I am saying. What I am saying is that changing the ruling party gives the current opposition a lot of power to decide the fate of the nation. They can stop the whole jurong economic centre from developing, cut off ties from malaysia, etc. Albeit extreme, it is a clear example of what incompetent people may be able to do to our beloved nation.
Sure, the change may also result in the opposition doing the following:
1) Remove COE, make cars a more affordable mode of transport to all.
2) Revoke work permits for foreigners, remove immigration policies in place that favours foreigners.
3) Lower housing prices to make it more affordable to the younger generation.
Sure, these are popular measures to take, and provide an immediate solution to the pressing matters that we currently face. However, are you willing to see thousands more cars on the roads overnight? Endless jams regardless of the time and location?
Removing all FTs from our nation seems to be a natural solution to many of our problems. But if we take them away, who is going to do their jobs? Nowadays, Singaporeans have been spoonfed for generations. Who here is still willing to partake in the jobs that these FTs have been doing? FTs contribute to our nation through taxation and other economical means, they do not have the privilege to use our social welfare system here and yet, their presence are never appreciated by our nation.
PAP already brought in more tiongs, pinoys and **** to vote for them. Their policies are skewed in favour of the new citizens anyway and you still vote for them
