1. My Prepaid SIM card is faulty, where can I get it replaced? Is it chargeable?

Yes. You can get it replaced the selected 8 SH Shops – Plaza Singapore level 1 and basement/Tampines Mall TM1 & 2/Vivo/Nex/MBLM/100AM/SH Green. A replacement cost of $26.75 will apply.

Just go down to the counter and ask if a waiver is possible. Normally 1st time replacement they should be able to do a waiver. If not, then just get a new card since its probably cheaper that way. Based on my experience, singtel is way more flexible and willing to accommodate such requests.

I recently upgrade my normal sim card to 3g sim and paid 38. Then it includes free 1gb data for 7 days after activation but now I still cannot find any data networks in my phone. Anyone knows what to do?? Singtel user.

Owned that phone previously. No problem with singtel prepaid data.

Another thing to check is the apn
Google using the keywords singtel prepaid apn to find singtel's configuration guide (pdf)

thanks. i've changed the apn and realise i still need to dial *360 to activate data access. (from google too)

Physical cards never cheaper, the number entering one then can get discount. I recommend you just top up online if you are intending on buying and keeping the physical cards for whatever reason(going overseas maybe?).

As for $50, go read up the bonuses you get $10 vs $20 vs $50 on singtel's page and see if it is worth it for you.

I don't think he's considering that, he just wants to get the cost of the main account topup as cheap as possible.

Does anyone know how much those sellers earn by topping up for customers using their mobile phone or by selling top-up cards ? Are they being paid commission by the Telcos ? If they can sell the value of top-up at discount if top-up via mobile, how do they earn ?

Hi, if my usage is 100 mins call, about 300 sms and about 3-4gb, is a prepaid still worth it? M1 postpaid (mySIM is extremely attractive) btw I'm on singtel (most expensive telco ever).

Can someone explain what's 7 + 1 + 1 + 1...? Is it $7 for 1st 100mb of data then $1 for every 10mb after?
