i've helped my colleague upgraded the firmware to latest. With no programs or any sort of setups. Tested camera, it doesnt seems sluggish anymore even after 35 continuous shots. Mobile data usage for 30min with hotspot also not so hot anymore. Anyone can confirm same findings?

With the current issues people are facing for the mi4i, the phone will really depreciate when the 32gb model is launched. Heehee..

Sometimes, my whatsapp notifications get delayed. I will only received them hours later. Anyone face the same problem.

I didn't have this problem earlier. I suspect it's due to the recent software updates.

Try locking the app to background memory so the phone doesn't force close it in background when idle.
Go to background app list (long hold list button) and drag icon downward So a lock appear.

maybe your power setting set as cut off data and wifi when on standby mode~

Go to BATTERY & PERFORMANCE > Manage app's battery usage > Manage app's battery usage (Disable it)

Notifications should work after that
