(Note tht the article mentions that "It is worth noting that Xiaomi is gradually weakening the association of MIUI version and Android version. Meanwhile, Lin Bin says the Redmo Note 2’s future of development will be based on the depth of customization than stock Android offers, and it’s pretty good, he said yesterday.")

Oh no. I purposely never update to latest os because many people are complaining on those issues.

So 6.6.10 resolved all battery related problems?

Will it be hard to revert back?

Tbh, I've never experienced any battery issues since I got this phone.

The real problem is people expect a midrange phone to be performing like a flagship and rant about the most trivial of matters just to justify their mere $279 like its the end of the world.

Ever since 6.5.4.0. The update they released to fix the heating issue which imo, wasn't really that bad given that this is a midrange phone and not meant to run graphically intensive games like those high end Snapdragon 800 series phones.

People need to realise that this is not a flagship and quit whining as though they've paid $500+.

I woulk not say this is a mid range phone just because they are selling cheap. The bettary spec at 3000mA+ at 4.4v vs normal phone use 3.7v battery. So I expect bettery life should be good.

Phone price is combination of many factor. Eg brand name, features and etc.
