Yeah.. The latest update still doesn't solve this issue.

Experienced the issue for the first time this morning. Had to press and hold the power button before it responds. It looked like a deep sleep..

I think highly likely got some rogue or problematic app that u guys installed.

My RAM usage went up to 75% with just only web browsing.. Is it normal?

I wouldn't be concerned about that actually.

its still the same few apps that google play restores for me. the only one that is diff for now is the one that controls touch light.

Experienced it the first time today.... And then after about 30seconds of non responding black screen, i finally unlocked with fingerprint and got an error message "TOuchwiz has crashed" or something like that.

I didn't get that error but its just laggy.

Are you guys using HDwidgets? I experienced the same thing also then I uninstalled that app and everything is ok

nope, don't use it anymore, even though I paid for it.

Have this problem too. Not using HD widgets. It got so frequent I had to reset the phone. Not sure what's causing this.

After resetting the phone to factory settings, haven't managed to replicate the problem. Hope it doesn't happen again.

i installed the latest update and cleared cache from recovery. see if it helps. for now its okay.

Seems to be a deep sleep issue.. Think Samsung tried to increase the battery life too aggressively. Phone needs some time to wake up after idling for a while.

I cleared cache too after updating to the latest OTA firmware. Still same issue.

Skaade jie jie, still got lag issue on the note 5? Was it much better than lollipop on your note 4 previously?

Was the lag only confined to waking the phone from sleep or it happens throughout general use?

Guys,

Can check anybody has played around with DPI settings.

I changed the DPI in Note 5 to 640 same as my Note 4 to make sure the screen doesn't look to different. But it started to crash the camera, clock and other Samsung Apps..

Really?? I saw users posting their battery life online and the standby time is rather bad compared to a 6 plus. And screen on time seems rather bad as well. Anyone able to shed more light on this? Thanks.

I would say ip6+ battery life is better probably around 20-30% . On my Note5 I had recorded 6-8 hours SOT which I deemed good already. Mainly on internet stuffs n no gaming

I would agree - I'm getting better battery life with my iP6+. The idle battery life for the Note 5 is not as good as the 6+ which is excellent.
