You know, I really feel it's a shame many Note users don't bother to learn their S-Pen, some never even take out before on their phone. It takes about an hour to practice and get used to it, and it will only increase your productivity at work or other real life stuff.

The S-Pen is seriously one of the best thing so far on a phone, so far no other competitor bother to have a good accurate pen. Tested the Note 5 at the store, it's even more accurate and responsive compared to the Note 3.

I've done so many awesome things with the S-Pen, like circle something on google map screenshot then whatsapp to friend, write some text on it, and it's only the tip of the iceberg.

Agreed come on guys. 21st century now. Tutorials all on line and YouTube.

No excuse :)

To add on the feeling of holding the phone feel good on Note 5 than iPhone 6+

Haha yea, and Widgets are just too good and convenient... Without even needing to launch apps, many things can be done just from the homescreen..

Just some quick impressions on audio quality for music.
In short ,its fantastic. Read on for long story

Moving away from a dedicated audio rig to a minimalist setup, I depend on my phone now for audio playback and hope it's got quality.

Previously I enjoyed the galaxy s2 with its wolfson DAC and it was pretty good.
Then Samsung started using the snapdragon chipset and it just sounded bad, so I switched to a dedicated DAP but still craved the convenience of a minimalist setup.

Using the noble audio BTS Bluetooth adapter hooked to my noble audio K10 and flac played via power amp is my current setup.

Streaming through the 6plus was good ,it used a cirrus logic DAC....but I just didn't like the it's platform and went for the G4 and once again, the snapdragon DAC shows its clear inferiority, hollow mids and bass lost its punch.

No back on the note 5 with its exynos chipsets and wolfson DAC, I'm very very happy. The Wolfson DAC is comparable or I daresay even better than then 6plus and the the G4 is not even comparable at all.

Sounds is much fuller, tones across the board are presented nicely. Next thing I'll try is the native app with the UHQ sample turned on. My best minimalist setup to date

DAP
-cowon j3, z2
-Sony 1060
-Sony zx1

Phones
-s2
-note3
-iPhone 6plus
-g4
-honor 6 (work phone)

That's good to know. A mini review from an audiophile. :) Thanks.

I am no audiophile but i do enjoy listening music on e note 5.. Especially when it can be customised based on my hearing that can be setup via the "Adapt Sound" function.

Yes this is so true.. I use S-Pen alot. (I draw as well). And 2 of my friends went for note 4 because they saw how I used the S-Pen so often and how functional it was on my note 3.. haha..

Overall, I am an extremely happy note 5 user.. Great improvement in many department compared to previous series. :) Was not affected by no SD card or changeable batt, cos I never use an extra batt in note 3 anyway.

Oh, I stopped using Swiftkey during S3 when it lags badly at times and took second to catch up to what I typed. And I also frequently type chinese which I have to switch in the option to google keyboard and then back to swiftkey, thought abit troublesome.. Haha. :p

Currently using the default samsung keyboard.

Btw does Swiftkey support chinese languauge now already?

Hmm after clearing cache, my ram settles also around 47% but previously it was 50%

I am not so worried about the RAM.

The sleep cannot wake up is quite irritating already. Sometimes sleep wake up like never wake up properly like that ... screen on then after a while it sleeps back by itself again. Zzz

Yea but Swiftkey started lagging after it started out introducing themes

Yea, I noticed on my note 3 that the theme made the keyboard lagged even when Im using the default. Haha.. But now Note 5 system very powerful, so will go try it out again. Hopefully Swift's performance is optimised now.
