Was using zooper widget previously in my z1 days. But it seems to drain my battery quite a bit. So after using awhile, I have uninstalled and didn't use it after switched over to Note4.

Not sure about newer versions...

Zooper seems better now. Using it and no issues with battery drain. So far so good but I just have one clock widget. But that clock widget also displays contextual info where the last line changes with time of day (morning and night shows up differently):

You know, I really feel it's a shame many Note users don't bother to learn their S-Pen, some never even take out before on their phone. It takes about an hour to practice and get used to it, and it will only increase your productivity at work or other real life stuff.

The S-Pen is seriously one of the best thing so far on a phone, so far no other competitor bother to have a good accurate pen. Tested the Note 5 at the store, it's even more accurate and responsive compared to the Note 3.

I've done so many awesome things with the S-Pen, like circle something on google map screenshot then whatsapp to friend, write some text on it, and it's only the tip of the iceberg.

So Vulpixxx korkor buying Note 5? Or bought?

Thanks .... Just wiped the cache thingy .... see whether the phone still has that sleep cannot wake up issue and the keyboard missing a few seconds issue ^^

After cleared the cache, my screen still lazy to wake up once in a blue moon.

Nah, not buying yet until I see Samsung doing something about the sleep of death issues plaguing the current firmware. You guys in SG not the only one with this, it's a widespread issue.

frankly i wont say this is sleep of death. sleep of death to me would be what's happening to sony z3 series. had a friend whose z3 compact never woke up from sleep. had to service it. happened a few times. press and hold power but nothing. at least my note 5 responds but just seem to lag.

like if u sleep and snooze feeling?

The sleep issue is not always tio so no worry.

I also got it on 21st. besides restart problem which I have encountered a few times, the brightness sliding bar goes missing sometimes despite the battery is not low.

Never had such issues. Restart if often point to motherboard or app ( incompatible unofficial app) issues

anyone got load google launcher or nova on the Note 5. Is there any performance improvement?

11 hours SOT and 1d15h standby? unbelievable this score can beat the ipad.

Power saving mode reduces the processor performance.. Is there a lot of diff? I find it wasted to do that because the note 5 performance is so awesome and there's quick charge 2. 0 anyway

EDIT: just tried it. It's noticeably slower and the processor cores get limited in speed. Performance becomes slightly better than note 4 only

I've set it to activate only at 15% battery.

Without power saving I can get about 5 hrs SOT which is pretty good considering this is the fastest or second fastest phone on the market now. Losing in some benchmarks to s6
