was having the same dilemma as you. settled for note5 because:

1. cheaper by $100 for 32gb version
2. phone case offers better protection for non edge?
3. i tried using s6 edge+, i realised that a small portion of my palm will touch the "edge" side when i am using the phone, and it will locked up the entire touch screen. whatever u touch on the screen has no effect, as certain part of your hand "flesh" is holding on to the touchscreen. you gonna try this out to see if it affects u, my hand big maybe? haha

Sapphire black has its advantages. I whipped out my Note 5 in a dangerous part of Malaysia. Everyone around me thought I was using an old model phablet because I had it in a jelly case.

My wife's pink note 4 would've probably gotten a lot more unwanted attention!

Very useful if u plan to travel around the region with your phone

Just wanna know how to restart the phone if it hangs since the battery is not removable. Can restart w/o doing a hard factory reset? Kindly advise.

Press and hold the power button will reboot the phone..

Holding volume down will put the phone into download mode, which is very risky.

I think u meant volume up button. Volume up will put it into recovery mode where u can choose to clear cache or to reboot..

Updated to the latest firmware, cleared the cache, still getting the dreaded lag when waking up phone!

I think u meant volume up button. Volume up will put it into recovery mode where u can choose to clear cache or to reboot..

Oh, so if the power button has no respond then use volume up + power button har? Then cqn choose option to reboot n wil not wipe the phone data hor? Hope i got everything right

I'm not too worried about safety and I think the gold stands out more than silver which looks more metallic. I just wish the Sapphire Black was jet black and not blue black.

No such thing. Download mode need 3 buttons - power , home n vol down. Had done it several times on my phone
