iPhone 5S Loose Screen

Hello guys,
Recently i repaired my iPhone 5S (3rd party) for a cracked screen.
After a few weeks, the screen itself came loose from the frame.
Not the case of the phone, but the frame of the screen.

Somethign like this

3rd party wouldn't recognize the fault, and need to replace the whole screen AGAIN.

My phone is already out of warranty, if i were to bring it to a authorized iPhone repair shop, is it possible for them to repair it even after the "unauthorized modifications"?

Just superglue back. Did it for my old 5S when the top right corner started to pop out. Less than 5 min job.
Not sure search YouTube on fixing iPhone screen pop out. No need remove the screen like in the video. Just see how the glueing is done.

The whole screen gonna pop out when i tried to pry it open, don't dare try anymore already.
But the battery is damn old already, i think high chances of it being bloated

Tried to open, the screen came off. The sides of the glass screen itself broke also.

Went A.Labs today.
They said my loose screen cause the digitizer to have problem already,
only can replace the whole set @ $450....

Rather go buy screen replacement and ownself repair....
And buy a battery and repair also.

I have similar problem with my 5S as well just that mine is worst. The display became blank. Based on what I read from some forums, I thought this was due to bloated battery and as advised by Apple Customer Service, I brought it to A-Lab but they said it was not as they claimed that the battery location is on the other side. They even wanted to charge me for opening up for diagnosis. Any cheap and reliable repair shop to recommend? Thanks!

Actually, if you looked around online, you will see people complaining about bloated battery on their iPhone 5/5S's.

When the problem first occured it should already be a easy guess that something had to "expand" to cause the screen to pop out.

The first assumption would be a bloated battery (or maybe it's just me who kind of knows that).

Maybe go for the upcoming iPhone 6S / 6S +?

I repaired my uncles iPhone 5 on my own.

Just buy a 3rd party battery and YouTube a tutorial. I did mine in 20 minutes. Pretty easy.

Okay thanks! Will give it a try if it is indeed bloated battery that caused this. What if it is a screen problem as what A-Lab advised? Can DIY to replace the screen?

Then follow A-Lab's advice? They are the real experts.

I just opened the iPhone and checked MYSELF. It's not hard to disassemble the iPhone 4/4S/5/5S. It's (to me) VERY EASY and you can tell if it's a bloated battery.

Saves your time going down to A.Lab and all too when you can troubleshoot the problem yourself.

Err, actually for bloated battery they'll do phone replacement. They check no water damage and third party repairs done of course. But since TS already replaced screen outside before, guess won't be covered.

Used the sucktion thingy to lift up the screen.
The glass itself came off, the sides still stucked in the phone.

Don't know what to do liao .....

Get yourself a new phone.

Actually they only announce the battery replacement issue. If your phone eligible and have battery problem, replace.
My case was not eligible. And after checking, they said battery in good condition. Bloated battery will cause left corner of screen to pop, mine was right side. So they say cannot change.
If problem was really bloated battery, they'll raise to apple for change.

Search the thread. Read some folks have been successful getting a replacement due to bloated battery.
No harm going down to try. A Lab 10am+ on Saturday not crowded. Also never charge me anything for checking my phone.
