If you look at historical trend since 80s, it's always up down up down after 2-3 GE. There is no consistent up or down trend.

I'd say the result is consistent to trend.

I think you got it wrong, TS. 70% is the intelligent ones and 30% is the daft ones. Why care for Singapore? We are in good hands and we are lucky that we have a very experienced and capable party to rule Singapore.

IMO, the 30% (Including me) was the ones sleeping and need to wake up. 70% already realized that 人不为己,天诛地灭. So don't pity others, it's a every man for himself era now.
