New Apple TV 2015

The coolest feature about the new Apple Tv is Siri Remote. But it seems like Singapore's Apple TV will not come with Siri function. Any idea if I purchase the TV from overseas (e.g U.S), will it work in SG?

hmm that's weird, Siri already can recognize SG English accent. it should work for e Apple TV also.

The US version comes with "Siri remote" whereas SG version comes with "Apple TV Remote". It looks exactly the same. Apple TV Remote also have the Siri button. I think even though you get the SG version of the new Apple TV, you can still use Siri as long as you set the region to US.

This is indeed weird why apple didn't integrate Siri into SG directly. Maybe it's licensing issue with the movie searches.

imo, not really worth buying it for existing apple TV users.
