Just completed factory reset. going to let it sit for 1 hour after charging to 100%. See how much I lose in 1 hour without installing anything else other than built in stuff. Didn't even disable s-voice. LOL~
omg... just checked the 1hr point... 1hr of standby took out 4% of the battery. WTF man...

all my older phones only used 1% for 7 hrs! something wrong...

Did you clear the cache? Hmmm, one thing maybe also your cell signal. Maybe working OT to get signal. You go airplane mode see if it's same also or not. Cos now i suspect even if you bring to SSC also they will reinstall your OS only at 1st.

actually i did go airplane mode overnight liao. and confirmed it's got to do with network.
because 5 hours, drop 1%... so either something is constantly poking the internet. or like you said, I have very bad reception... but never had this issue with other phones... unless this samsung unit the antenna is very lousy...

Now I'm trying to put it in 3G only. so now I get a full bar of reception. see if it helps.

If its on airplane mode, then it can't be the internet or signal reception strength..

Hi guys im one of the users that has the sleep wake issue.. however about a day ago instead of doing a restore to factory settings... i went intk the "clear cache partition" mode to clear the conflicting cache system files of note 5 and it solved my problem.. you guys can google it and try it to see if it works for you guys.

actually what I meant is. I did a test with airplane mode on.

5 hours with airplane mode on, drop 1% in 5 hours.

now I tried again changing LTE connection to 3G in order to get full bar signal
1 hour drop 1% with me using it very lightly receiving and reading sms.

So it really seems like its my signal strength that is causing the problem... I will monitor somemore... thanks for bringing up the fact that my signal was bad. I didn't pay attention to it cos I kept focusing on the fact that i'm on WIFI.

Anyone else used this method and can work CONSISTENTLY.

Did try it before but the problem still comes back .... how often you have to clear the cache then ?? :s22:

Eh wanna ask ah. If press home button the screen come on in the lock screen but freeze there and i can't do anything except press power button to put it into standby again then press the home button and can work.

Is this considered sleeping beauty issue? Or is it Cinderella issue.

The unlimited scrolling feature has been removed in the new Touchwiz since Galaxy S6 and S6 edge time.

Only way to have unlimited scrolling is to use another launcher or a Non-Samsung, hacked version of Touchwiz.
