Foir those ultra sensitive suffers from allergic rhinitis/asthma. In order to keep the allergen levels in the air at bay and if you wanna heal from the "inflammation injury" that you have been suffering from very long, so that after a long period of healing and living above the trigger threshold of the allergens you won't get allergic rhinitis so easily as your hypersensitive level improves.....from my experience you'd need 10 x ACH, maybe even higher.

But just get a fan to blow around your head area, so that the dust mite dropping allergen do not get breathed in when you toss n turn in bed at night, is great.

Don't worry about True HEPA or what for that. Dust mite allergen size ranges down to only 1.0 microns approx. Even H10 easily handles that range at an extremely high efficiency.

Ultimately, airflow and Air Changes Per Hour rules.

Edit - nearly 50% of humans are not allergic to the dust mites. They are allergic to the dust mite droppings, the protein and enzyme stuff that are produced. Once over that threshold, you develop an allergic reaction.

Of coz, as always, keep the source levels at bay. A weekly change of bedsheets especially pillow case is needed, in addition to HEPA filtration.

I don't have AX40, so unable to answer your 1st part.

As for your 2nd part, yes. Even after haze period, I do switch on our bedrooms' AP at night during our sleep.

We place them in one corner. I don't place them right next to our headboard...cos it is Honeywell. Not silent. :D

GXGX to those who just got your air purifier.

(1) Pls for get about the purifier area (sqm). It mostly is marketing fluff.

(2) If you intend to run it after the haze period, pls set it at the fan speed mode that gives you at least 5 ACH / Air Changes Per hr.
This is the recommended levels for allergy sufferers. eg allergic rhinitis, even mild cases

Bro, tks for the tip. But how do you measure the ACH?

No real risk of SW winds ba. Maybe just South winds for 1.5km altitude.

TY Dujuan is moving NNW from now on.
