iPhone 6S - slight lag when unlocking

laggy yesterday

now no lag

again i suspect its Spotlight doing indexing when the phone is idle..

should have finished indexing now

i restored a huge backup from my 6plus via itunes yesterday when i got my 6s plus

It's been 12 hours since I got my phone and installed 9.0.1. Will report back if situation improves by end of day. Still lagging/freezing a little.

Yup. And btw my phone is warm as well even when left idle. I checked that no mobile data was being used. Strange. Looks like it could really be indexing going on? The battery page doesn't shed any light on what was consuming the battery. It fell 10% in 2 hours on idle.

Because of iOS 9 capability to search WITHIN apps, the indexing takes much longer than before.

I turned off reduce motion and the unlock lag came back. You sure u guys tried reduce motion on and still lag?

Ya, that was what I did... I turned on reduce motion but was still lagging. Then after that I restarted and it was still there!

upgraded to ios 9.1 beta 2 and unlock lag is gone
