Planning to go Genting this November, should i go for Resort Hotel or FWH? Never stay at Resort Hotel before, btw i'm using my GPs to exchange for a room so price does not matter.
Also, i used to take a bus from the bus terminal to KL but heard that since the bus terminal move to the mushroom farm area, that bus service is no longer available. Is there any other way than cab to KL now?

Of cos, Resort Hotel. Much much more comfortable than FWH.

I think you should be taking the coach that stops at KL Sentral, then take the Genting coach from there.

My last stay was FWH, though in a World Club Room which has a separate breakfast place from the rest. Quite peaceful until heading out and in the lift, though. :s22:

arrhhh, so disappointing. i actually remembered seeing an area similar to rws poker area in genting years back. they shut it down and i was hoping that they reopen it.

Do you play at rws?

nope, Genting doesn't have any player vs player poker. only once in a while they will organize tournaments like the recent one that one user here took part in, but otherwise nope they don't have it. neither do they have craps.

Yeap, i just drove up and confirm theres no poker (player vs player) or craps table there. sibeh disappointing, i just blow cold air (and haze) and do spa. even my wife is disappointed with the sic bo table there as they take damn long to move to the next round. but the food at half mountain ish quite good. :s13:

Anyone drive up... How the hazy condition on the way up? Still visible?

I drove up last sat early morning at 2am. Haze was rather bad. Its quite hard to drive above 170kmh. I drove around 150-160 kmh and I feel like I am already pushing it as you are blocked by the haze.

At genting you will have the usual fog. But you can smell the haze as well and its quite bad. The smell feels like around 150-200 psi.
