What info are they possibly getting?

once they get enough users, they can go to ad publishers n ask for $ in exchange for whitelisting ads. something like what crystal is doing although crystal has mentioned it will be opt in for users...

this is usually e practice for free services but crystal is a paid app so... :s22:

i am now enjoying ios9 safari content blocker.
Today news and Strait times are notorious for advertisement. now they are gone.

for iOS8. i was using Dolphin browser that blocks ads too.

I downloaded adblock plus, seems decent, alot of ads are blocked, pages load faster too.

Suggest to you and the others who read this, to stay far far away from adblock plus. They accept payments from advertising companies in exchange for whitelisting their ads, basically being the tollbooth themselves. Crystal is another adblocker which has also partnered with adblock plus' parent company, Eeyo, to show "acceptable" ads.

So what is the best ADBlocker.. Read the post also blur.
Want to block those ADs from program too...

How does weblock works? I paste the url into Auto section, but it stayed there. Unable to click return, so I clicked back. When I go back to check, proxy is still "off". Anybody can advise?

weblock only works on wifi/vpn. u can't specify a proxy when on cellular...
