It's not a **** TV. In fact it's actually LG's highest end LCD TV.
It's a quantum dot TV, thus it's better than your average LCD TV, but 1 rung below OLED TV.
A couple of reasons why i can guess it's not very popular because
1) People would rather pay more for a 4K OLED?
2) Salespersons pushing their Full HD OLED TV because it's quite competitively priced?
3) It's competitor, Samsung's quantum dot TV (JS9000) series is more attractive because it offers a curved screen (and curved screens command a premium over flat screens) and is using an external box for all it's AV and USB connections.
Do i need another recevier for hd channels for this tv?Hi i did. Why and what do u want to know?
I am no expert. I bought it because i dont like curve screen but i like slim screen so this is my choice. Spec wise cannot be better than than the rest of the led tv.
It has a Digital TV Ready label meaning with built in DVB-T2 tuner for sg.Do i need another recevier for hd channels for this tv?
