i tried turning the option on. Still doesn't work

How about a reset of set top box? Perhaps you can give it a try.. from what my experience, some programmes do not have subtitles while some have, it entirely dependent on the programme. If you are referring to free to air channels, subtitles are showing up for me..

I have a really strange situation here not sure if it's normal. I had been watching miotv in my room in the past few month via connecting to a powerline adaptor. Everything was good and smooth until when I try to charge my tablet in my room, the pictures suddenly turns freezes and turns jerky. It is not a coincidence and it is happening many many times.

It seems unrelated but charging my tablet somehow is affecting my signal from my miotv.

Side note: I had not problems charging my iphone whatsoever.

Anyone knows what's the issue here?
do you use the same charger?

Does anybody experience loss of sound for their Mio TV these 2 days.
Sound return after on/off but after short while cut off again.

anyone know how mio tv vlan tagging works? I tried the following, only port 4 has mio tv, port 3 mio tv not working. I have 2 set top box so now can only watch in living room not bedroom...

I'm following this question with interest. I want to subscribe a second set-top box for bedroom. Will just use a super long Cat 5e cable to connect from port 3 to the set-top box in bedroom, provided port 3 works for Mio/Singtel TV. Keep port 4 for the living room TV.
The above method works for ASUS routers…

I have Asus router before and I can confirm it works with some settings tweak. I am having Linksys router now though... So far the port 3 has been unreliable. I have to do a sequential reboot in order to make it work usually, which is pain in @ss

What's the highest resolution you guys can change to on the box ? I can only see 1080i

Anyone faced where miotv set top box led all as per normal but TV showing no signal?

Previously the power led was blinking on and off.

$15 discounted Mio TV package (Mio Stadium inclusive)

Hi all,

Would anyone be interested in signing up to a $15/month discounted Mio TV package?

I have my current Mio TV package (Action Gold) expired, and originally planned to terminate it. However upon my call with Singtel, they offer me a $15 discount per month to keep me so that i can stay with Singtel, but i need to re-contract for another year. So instead of cancelling it, i thought some others might benefit from this. In return, i will also get a $150 hello shop voucher from Singtel. So i think it's really a win-win here if there is somebody out there who is keen in signing up a new singtel TV line. So how this goes is that i need to re-contract my Mio TV so that my discounted pricing kicks in, then i transfer my ownership to someone else.

My Action Gold package includes: Mio Stadium+/World Sports+/Movies+/News/Lifestyle/Education/Kids/Entertainment. The original pricing is $69.9/month, and the new discounted price will be $54.9/month. And also there is a $27.5/quarter homeline chargable on a quarterly basis, but i think if you already have a singtel homeline at home, then this won't be necessary.

Any kind souls might be interested, please let me know & we can discuss further. Thanks.

Based on my experience, these types of programmes usually come in dual channel audio. You can set the audio, but I'm not sure if one is in mandarin or in English when one is in Korean..

Subtitles will be in either mandarin or English only..

Mio TV Line Affinity error (Error Code:5)

Hi all, just FYI.
My Mio TV had error message and couldn't watch for past few days, error message was something like "Line Affinity error........ (Code: 5).

Rebooted all equipments (router, power line, etc) and still same issue. Internet was working fine.

Singtel technician came and fixed today. Had to manually reconfigure something from the backend (he called back to their remote support team).

Apparently this has been an island-wide issue for the past 2 weeks, for users on Mio TV with ADSL connection (no issue with fiber users).

If you face the same issue, you'll need to get Singtel to send technician to your place to fix it.

Yes. Today when I reached home, I can't watch any channel at all. Need to reboot my miotv then back to normal.
