Filters not very expensive to replace from Taobao.

That's why AX60 for the win ba. They tested PM0.1 as well for the filter (claimed > 99% filtration) from the China documentation. As well as Samsung themselves on qoo10 etc. Haven really digged to verify, maybe others could do that.

seems good, i should have choose this instead of baomi:( cheaper too 999rmb...

Be advised, there might be small issues for these stuff.

Even my Midea (so called China big brand) has slight squeaky sound when in high mode. Need some WD40 i guess.

If want cheap, just get from gumtree/carosell.

Just curiosu if humidifiers are causing aircons to leak? Humidity set at 50-60%.

Daikin and Mitsubishi seems to be on par? Which is the slightly better between these 2? Any Japan made ones?

From my knowledge, Daikin and Mitsubishi are not popular in SG. V v v few units.

FCU leaks due to non maintainence or too long interval last time. Try to DIY more regularly

Mine is serviced 4 times a year but usually after 2.5-3 months it starts to leak. Currently the most oftenly used unit leaks after chemical washing just 2 months ago. I suspect piping issue but I am not an expert. I am using Starmex currently

hmm I can't really describe it, its not anything too offensive. I don't notice it after a few minutes

I would say typical filter smell cos it is starting to smell like my Panasonic AP which hasn't had a filter changed in 3 years....

Icic.

Usually, human's nose will accommodate to most smell after awhile and get used to the smell.

I am hoping the weird smell from my AX40 from Goni is not giving out more pollutants..
