the UAG case adds quite a bit of bulk too though right? Someone offered to sell me his UAG maverick for $20, not sure if should cop actually. I heard that the rubber sides also tend to come off easily after use? I'm more worried of the leather being scratched actually from taking off the case and all if its too snug also.
Get it! The adhesive on the sides would loosen up if you remove too often. That's what happened to me but it doesn't affect it much at all. It wouldn't scratch the leather.
Any idea where can I buy a good case ?
Dk qoo10 those good a not leh
I've ordered from grampics from qoo10 for the wallet style case but yet to even have it shipped.. :(

Hmm I'll try to get a Ringke Fusion case first. Trying to get one for cheap haha. I think i'll definitely be removing the case quite often to change the battery and stuff. I heard that the leather back gets plied off with the case when removing the UAG cover also?

When removing the case, does it damage the leather back? Heard that it has sharp edges as well

Just have to be careful when you do that. I have removed the case umpteen times, no problem so far. The case sides are rubbery, so just don't hesitate to pull it as much as you can when removing it.

Marshmallow Update for G4 is coming

For the second year in a row, LG is announcing a lightning-fast rollout for the new version of Android on its flagship phone. The LG G4 will start getting Marshmallow next week, but only if you live in Poland. That was also the first G3 Lollipop market last year. LG likes Poland, I guess. Other markets in Europe, Asia, and the Americas are to follow.

LG cites the improved permission system, do not disturb mode, and doze as the headlining features of the Marshmallow update. That's all stuff you can currently only experience on a Nexus device. Not even Motorola (with its new Lenovo masters) has announced a Marshmallow soak test. This doesn't mean LG is sending you Marshmallow personally, just that it is starting the long and arduous process of deploying the OTA.

LG will probably be monitoring for feedback on the Polish update before tweaking it for deployment in the rest of the world. US carriers are also likely to slow things down as they test and certify the OTA. The Lollipop update didn't hit some variants of the G3 until late winter last time. Temper your expectations.

First and foremost, my deepest condolences.. :o

I had a similar occurrence on my local set about 2 weeks back. This unearthly possession of the phone is rather a rare phenomenon. In my case, I had exerted more than the usual force on the screen while attempting to put it into the spigen slim armor case. I was so sure that my screen was a goner but by some divine intervention, after 5 minutes or so, it started operating normally. My G2 had a even more bizarre episode. That beast of a phone got possessed too and it did not end well for it. The screen just died after suffering for 3 days. Saving grace was that the warranty was on its last legs and LG replaced the mamaboard and screen for me after which, I sold it off. :o

Now, your only hope is contact the supplier whom you bought it from see if he can assist otherwise, bring it to a 3rd party handphone repair shop. There are many in Sim Lim and few at Bugis as well. Personally, I have ever patron the services of such a shop in Bugis for my Note 2 and the folks there were kind enough, to troubleshoot for me FOC. Price wise, they are about 200%-300% cheaper than the authorised service centre
Anyway, I wish you well.

Thx bro.. Will try those shops. Bought fm Broadway, Hk. So unless i go to hk soon, there is no way to get this to a service agent. Bought many dual sim fones fm Hk n china, mainly samsung and sony. So far so gd. Thx again for the adv...

As the leather back continues to wear, I love how it's turning out to be. From what I see, the dark portion is the original leather color before tanning.
