Hello, based on my pretty recent research, polypet generally has the lowest prices, especially for cat litter. However, with bulk discount (e.g. 9 to 10% off 24 cans or more), nekojam may work out to be cheaper for certain items. Nekojam is also cheaper for certain kinds of cat food, e.g. Wellness Core Kitten, compared to Polypet.

For toys, Polypet will likely be cheaper than Nekojam, but Amazon will definitely be cheapest if you often use cgw/vpost or even Amazon's delivery.

Nekojam has free delivery about $59, while Polypet's free delivery threshold is $100.

Also, in terms of delivery if you are working, Nekojam delivers in the evening (7pm-10pm?) on weekdays, while Polypet delivers in the day on weekdays but also delivers on Saturday, 12pm-7pm. Nekojam's owner is also friendly and quite flexible (can chat through the web browser app if she is online).

thank you .. will search for them online.

Anyway just would like to recommend complementary canned cat food which is very simple in ingredients.. the simplest for cats with sensitive stomach (only chicken, i excluded fish, though these brands also stock very simple tuna).

Schesir:
Chicken and rice

Kakato:
Chicken in water

Monge:
Chicken in water but they add F.O.S (fructo oligosaccharides), a prebiotic.

Hey, is sheba good?

Contains Chicken breast, thickening stabilizing agent (modified starch, guar gum), vitamin E.
Nutritional Analysis Protein....8 % min Fat ........0.2% min Fiber......0.4% max Moisture...85% max

but it doesnt look like a complete meal... or is protein enough?

it's not a complete meal. preferably your cat should also be consuming stuff like liver

also, i wish they would elaborate what kind of "modified starch" it contains

From numerous articles, forums, suggestions I've read online, I would not recommend Sheba nor any brands that you can find at supermarket.

Thanks for the replies :)

Anyone heard of "Professional Menu"? For the life of me, I can't find any info on this brand except here. And I can't read chinese... Can anyone comment on the ingredient and nutritional value? Or what the website says? Please. I have flavour 1, 4, 5 and 6.

Also what is the white stuff...? Is it the food gone bad? :/ Pics in spoiler

this is not bad, though i would avoid carrageenan as studies have linked that ingredient to cancer for pets. i'm also quite wary if it specifically says not for human consumption, which can imply that the meat used aren't human-grade meat. i wouldn't worry about the white stuff, i've seen if before in Nutripe. most like it's part of the tripe or animal fat

thank you :) im more at ease. the white stuff really worried me cause it seems her body heats up when she eats this canned food.

Hello!

I'm getting my first kitten in a month time and would like to seek help by experienced cat owners here:)
After doing my research, I have decided to feed Solid Gold Indigo Moon and Fussie Cat Premium Grain-Free for my cats when they are 1 year old.
But till they are 1 year old, what kitten food do you recommend? I would love to feed my cats Orijen but it is really out of my budget T_T
Thanks in advance!

how many months would ur kitten be? there is no need to wait till 1yr. once kitten is 2-3mths should be consuming proper wet/dry food and u can start kitten on diet with more protein. but its safe to do so when kitten starts to learn eating. not many can afford orijen. but for a single kitten you of cos can afford to give better spend better than some of us who have multicats. brands like wellness and holistic brands grain free brands are all good enough. just try to avoid brands that are packaged so nicely and marketed so well but has corn, fillers as main ingredients.

I will be getting my first cat in March when she is 2 months old. My second cat will arrive in June, so total I will be feeding 2 kittens. I'm not sure which kitten food is the best for value yet. Maybe need to take a trip to the pet shop for comparison.
What do you think of Royal Canin Kitten, Touch of Heavens for Kittens, Science Diet Kitten and IAMS Kitten & Junior?

Thank you!

i suppose u buying certain breeds and waiting for their arrival thru breeders? why not try adopting a stray of your liking. your choice since its around two decades of commitment.

only go for solid gold in this case. royal canin causes many cases of fur shredding lately. iams full of fillers and not quality enough. science diet ingredients could be better for its price and has corn.

I thought of adopting at first but most of the fosterer/adoption organization requires house visit and I'm uncomfortable with that.
Solid Gold Touch of Heaven in this case is the best? They have whole grain brown rice in the main ingredient, it's fine for kittens?

if u ask me, its fine cuz other than brown rice all other ingredients are good enough despite it not being grain free. But why not just go for indigo moon, its grain free. my kittens grew up on indigo moon and orijen (for dry food) hen i took them in at about 3-4 months old. u will never go wrong with indigo moon. read up reviews all over and its their main product and test and tried by cat owners all over the world. touch of heaven is under their newer 2015 released favour so its similar to their tried and tested katz and frocken which is lamb meat based with rice, solid gold's two main solid older dry food product.
