I lol'd at the newest video. :s13:

Remind me of last time i tried playing DOTA with my friends on netbook... halfway bluescreen and disconnected. "crashed" :s13::s22:

Lesson learnt: Better to pay more to get a better equipped laptop PC to run games. :s22:

NETBOOK?!? No slideshow experience ar? :s31:

But it has a uhd touchscreen with argb color gamut accuracy.

Class 1 GPU - is ok.
Class 2 GPU - not ok for me

IMO, regardless of the GAMUT accuracy, it is too small for me to edit pics on it anyway. Old man here :o

Something that caught my eye is the dual chamber air cooling, pretty sweet to see this cooling comes to sub-2k laptop
laptop-vostro-15-3000-pdp-polaris-02-black.jpg
.

So that why Dell chose to showcase in the video 2 guys playing games! The 960m is dekstop 750ti, good enough for console quality 1080p gaming

So the video the notebook is this notebook ??? Doesn't look as appealing as the one on youtube =:p

Honestly from this link

Felt that the Intel RealSense 3D still has room for improvement. The accuracy is almost always spot on but far from perfect.

Despite having the capability to measure various subjects in photos, it will merely churn out a rough estimation which is slightly or at times far off from the actual measurement.

A bit disappointing that this doesn't appear to do much better than Smart Tools, a cheap Android app I've had on my phone for years. It's early yet for such stuff, though. Ten years from now you'll take it for granted in any new device.

Since the Intel RealSense technology could measure distance and etc, why not try implementing into our vehicle as a "third-eye" to prevent accidents? I believe this technology could be made to "auto-brake" your vehicle to prevent any accidents from happening. Wouldn't this be smart? An additional aid is always welcome in today's high prone car accidents rate.

Darn, looks like I am a step too late and since nobody talk about it...
How does the Intel RealSense Technology pit against the Subaru EyeSight® - Pre-Collision Braking System?

Pre-Collision Braking System provides automatic braking to help avoid or reduce the severity of detected frontal accident impacts. Should the driver be distracted or just not register the risk of a collision, braking will be automatically applied when a potential frontal collision is recognised by EyeSight®.

More on the EyeSight

Two cameras to detect objects like human eyes do
Two cameras that function similarly to human eyes are used to process the surrounding environment in 3D. In addition to other cars, the system can also recognise pedestrians and cyclists, and accurately determine their distance, shape and speed of travel. The system can assist drivers in a multitude of driving situations, including reducing collision damage or if possible, prevent the collision, reducing fatigue on extended drives, or stopping incorrect acceleration if the wrong pedals are pressed.

This is gonna be a tough fight.

two vs three (Intel Realsense 3D Technology Camera). Looks like we have a winner here. Imaging placing the Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense x 3 cameras in the car to act as a deterrence for accidents... :s13:

I have enough car accidents in my life and hope that Dell could implement something to prevent head on accidents due to carelessness.

Its quite playable. Frame rate still okay. This of course is the old DOTA WC3 and not DOTA 2 of course.

Cause netbook smaller easy to carry around :s22:

as compared to Dell Inspiron 24 7000, it is definitely more portable!

but actually still not much development in the 4k scene right? i watched some 4k videos, damn power, got foreground and background feel. was hoping to see dramas and movies in 4k, but previously went to google on it, like no one really keen to do it, cause of the price and uncertainty. think now only got 1 drama doing 4k right? issit house of cards? cant remember.

so actually the display on the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 like not really a plus factor. as in not the luring factor.
