For android box, you can even use the internet browser to watch online movie without the needs for movie or TV app.. Still considering whether to buy since i have apple tv 3.

Apple TV 4 remote costs $118 which is 50% of apple tv 4 32gb ($248) and thanks one bro who shared earlier than it can break easily if dropped due to glass (Good design or poor material used?).

Still waiting for more useful movie streaming, live TV app..

Kodi is coming to the ATV4.

Plan A: The dev that ported Kodi to the jb ATV2/iPad is rewriting the app to be in compliance with the AppStore rules, so the app will be available on the tvOS app store. Addons are gone. Skins won't be in the initial release. I don't use add ons personally so this may work for me. It won't be called Kodi but most likely MrMC.

Plan B: Changes/tweaks MrMC makes to the Kodi source code to optimise it for the ATV4 will be rolled back into Kodi. The plan is to ensure Kodi compiles with XCode. This will allow you to compile it yourself and sideload it to the ATV4 via USB. This will be the full version of Kodi, addons, scripts etc. This bypasses the AppStore and no jb needed.

So, even without a jb, Kodi will be on the ATV4.

Never been this fascinating on Apple product since the iphone 4. Each day, there is more & more news & drama apps coming to apps store. With this rate, we might not need kodi, icefilm and some other apps might turn up at apps store direct.

I am glad that I have purchased my Apple TV 4 Like others I am enjoying the fun with families. And this forum just helped me to learn I can actually use my iPhone as additional remote for Beat Sport & Crossy Road Thanks!

You will require VPN as the MyTV app on IOS is already geo-blocked. Don't see why they will relax this requirement for AppleTV version if it is available.

Now the US App Store have "categories" section. Use it to discover more great apps! If it's free, download using US Apple ID. If it's paid, take note the name of the apps, then change to SG apple ID to purchase it. It's a little troublesome though.
