Mu-mimo is enabled in firmware 9177, and it does support singtel tv. It's port 4 if u choose the preset profile.

Very interesting look like the new firmware getting all the bugs fix.. hope
the temperature won't be so hot .. and Asus did a good job on patching up.

I've posted across samsung user forum and I'll post here as well because i'm not too sure the cause, I've updated both my phone S6 and latest (9177) firmware for the router and experience noticeable battery drain for the first time.

Need some help. I have upgraded from 200Mb to 1Gb fiber unlimited and the activation was supposed to be done today between 330pm - 500pm.

Last night around 12am, my fiber line and digital phone line was disconnected. My digital phone line is connected directly to the black ONT box.

I have tried re-configuring my AC87U WAN setup to be on Automatic IP (no tick on the special requirement from ISP) but I still can't get connected to the internet.

I tried connecting a direct cable to the ONT port 1 and was able to connect to the internet.

Any idea on how I should configure my AC87U?

Sometimes for customers going from plans which required vlan tagging, SingTel backend did not remove tagging when upgrading to 1Gbps. Try activating the SingTel-Others profile and see if it works. Else, you have to contact their tech support liao.

I'm doing wireless lan for multiple xbox. I can see the game listing but cannot complete the joining. Then I tried cable connection to router and it worked.

So there must be some wireless settings not setup correctly. Can help?

SingTel 1Gbs plan are supposed to connect to your SingTel ONT Port 2, and automatic IP selection. VLAN profiles are not required.

+ fair share of trollers and rival router users that are disguised as an ASUS RT-AC87U user.

Make more like the Asus OnHub (without all those ever increasing freaking antennas sticking out) and bring them to Singapore.

It's a shame that most never ever made it here...

i check my 87 temp. and i see 64C

earlier i have 10C more (when i use merlin fw). I use active cooling pad with very slow fan
For me its very good job from Asus.
