Thank u!!
Ill check up on them

For cost effectiveness, I think you can try simplistiq as they have an offer now.

From their website: Enjoy your first session of Venus Viva Nanofractional Radiofrequency from $160 (U.P. $480)!

Otherwise, Drx is very reputable (but more expensive). Can look for Dr Tsu.

Hi guys,

I relatively new here. I have some acne/pimple scars problem and I'm thinking of going to Gangnam laser clinic for their treatment. Anyone tried the Gangnam Good Riddance Scars RX treatment? If so do advise! I was quoted $500 per session and $1800 for 4 sessions. Want to seek some advice from you guys first before committing to it. Thanks!

Are you having oily skin? Perhaps controlling excessive oil and sebum will help better in reducing blackhead (as opposed to focusing on removing blackhead after they are formed)? I used to have lots of blackheads, but after I found suitable products that help to reduce oil, my blackhead problem is significantly improved now.

What product you use to reduce oil?

I've been using the Cure Natural Aqua Gel as an exfoliator, expensive but pretty good I must say. The black heads pop up after my wash, so I'll just use those extractor tool thingy to gently squeeze them out. Haven't found a long term solution for blackheads though. :(

What's your regime like? Do you have a daily BHA or AHA leave on exfoliant?

Exfoliant washes may not be as good because you need something that can be left on your face overnight to gently exfoliate. Ever since I've started with daily exfoliating I have had a lot less issues with black or white heads.

All those terms are pretty foreign to me :s13: I use mainly Dermalogica products: cleanser for daily wash, and then a toner for after wash. If I have spots I'll use one of the products called Special Clearing Booster and apply on affected areas, spots usually go away the next day. I don't use moisturiser or sunblock on a daily basis, only if my face feels particularly dry like when I'm in dry weather countries.

I exfoliate with the Cure product twice a week, the blackheads come out quite easily so I'll use a tool to squeeze them out. Pretty satisfying to see the crap ooze out. :D If I'm lazy to stand in front of the mirror I'll just use the clay nose pack from The Face Shop. It's the most effective nose strip product I've used so far. ;)

seems like its not good to squeeze the blackheads out. currently i using faceshop nose patch is quite good. I think it has to do with the oil.

Cannot help it, it's too tempting :s13: Yeah the faceshop nose pack is pretty good! I'm using the volcano clay one, very effective. Can't do too often though, once a week is enough.

For a period of time I tried the Off With Those Heads serum, it worked for a while but I got lazy so I stopped using it. It has good reviews though!

Try using this as a toner instead and stop cure completely:

Surface exfoliation might irritate/dry out skin which is detrimental in the long run. BHA exofliants do so from within pores.

Thanks I'll check it out, but the last time I used Clinique products I got a breakout, so I'm quite wary!
I fight that beautypedia is a good resource when looking for skincare products.

One of the lessons I've learnt is that not all products from the same brand are equal. Eg some Neutrogena products are horrible but some are very good!

What product you use to reduce oil?

As others highlighted, effectiveness of product may vary across individuals, some trial and experiment might be required :p

Here are what i use currently:
1. Cleanser - Biotherm Homme T-Pur (also tried their Homme Aqua Power, not recommending for oily face).
2. Toner day - Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Refining Tonic
3. Toner night - Laneige PowerEssential Skin Refiner for Sensitive non-alcohol (#2 is effective for me, but my face appeared dry if use it often, hence I choose to mix)

I do use moisturiser, tried a number of brands, but they don't make difference on my face as significant as toner.

By the way, I find Kyoku for Men facial scrub and lava masque quite good for me too. I use it once a week or two, depends on how lazy I feel.

Totally agreed! Even for the same brand, not all products are suitable for the same person.
