5GH-2 stopped working!

I bought RT-AC-5300 on Thursday on SITEX to replace RT-AC66U.
It worked for 2 days - wifi on both 2GH and smart connect on 5HG.
Today I have found that 5GH stopped working.
I switched off smart connect and found that 5GH-2 (high channel) stopped working.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED BY THE QUALITY!

bought this alaskan king crab today to replaced my ac87 and updated to the latest firmware 380_838 and performed factory reset on it. it is still alive and wandering in my living room. no doubt the 5ghz through put is blazing fast but not much improvement on 2.4ghz

hmm, maybe you would like to take a look at the system log to see where has gone wrong?

I never tried ac5300 before but i tried ac88u and it works flawless for 1 week plus without a reboot..

It will be great if you could share the system log entries (copy the latest few, not the entire log since inception) the next time you face this issue before a restart..

perhaps that is a bug in the coding of webUI.. if it works, just give them some time to launch an update.. :D

the router was completely unresponsive when this happened , was trying to retrieve the log from the crab to see what's wrong but it's totally inaccessible, wireless keep prompting for password and lan connection went death. After restarting the router and went to retrieve the log to see before and after the event of unresponsiveness but found nothing unusual. :s22:
