Does it mean that STI will chiong on Mon?

Given that oil prices dropped further n the outlook is still bad, I guess SCI, SCM n KC will continue downward trend.

quick question. example if this particular stock is paying dividends of $0.02 per share. will the decrease of this $0.02 from the share price start from the start of the XD or date of payment of dividends?

U.S. stocks rallied on Friday with the S&P 500 and Dow industrials posting their biggest one-day gains in nearly three months.

Investors took a strong U.S. jobs report as a further indication that the Federal Reserve is more than likely to raise interest rates later this month. Meanwhile, comments from European Central Bank President Mario Draghi, who said the bank can step up monetary stimulus if needed, also helped lift markets.

everyone waiting for rate hikes till neck long liao
if dec hike, maybe market will continue to rally
instead of the typical 2-3 month correction

On rate hike confirmation, it might drop but looking further out, it should be going up.

Yup, the rate lift off is a signal that the US economy is strong enough.

However, I think STI will still remain weak next year, being weighed down by struggling O&G, Commodity and real estate players...:(

in the past STI follows US closely

but now STI also follows china market

if US healthy, but China cannot make it, STI also hard to chiong

STI should be above 2900 on Mon. I am still waiting to buy more. Am still 50% in cash.

Reits and defensive telcos may fall. So a possible opp for me there.
