Sad, my salary GIRO is set up on the 28th of every month, and for last month it happened to be a Saturday. So the money was effectively in on the 1st of Dec. In short, I didnt' receive the bonus interest for salary... T_T

Hi ysyj48,

It sounds like you already have a Giro with Starhub. By any chance is this a Starhub new account?

We would like to help, but if this is an issue on the billing organisation’s end, we aren’t able to be of much help .

If your giro set up for 28th there will be months you won't get your salary bonus cos of weekends and public holidays

I sign up online for OCBC 360 account it has been approved with confirmation mail on the way.
Initially wanted to just credit my salary and pay 3 bills with this account. Having second thoughts now after reading BOC smartsaver forum. I have not credited any $ in my OCBC 360 nor submitted the change of bank to my HR as yet.

If my salary is credited 4-5times a mth and it is not fix (allowances basis), would the 1% increment account bonus benefits me. If not then I guess BOC (1%+0.6+0.4%= 2%) is better right?

I have a UOB one account with 3 giros and have just applied for their UOB one CC.

For OCBC 360, your salary has to be min 2000 in one transaction. BOC can be multiple transactions, min 2000

Hi OCBC,

Helping ask a question on behalf of a friend who recently switched over from DBS to OCBC 360. Previously the salary code was credited as SAL in DBS. Upon switching over to OCBC 360, the salary code is now CHQ.

Is there any way to check on this discrepancy and the steps to remedy it?

Hi Tornesoul,

You may want to get your friend to check with his/her HR to see if there were any changes in the way his/her salary is credited.

If your friend have any further queries, please get him/her to call our hotline at 1800 363 3333.

Alternatively, you could get your friend to send us a PM on our social media platforms, and we will arrange for our service executive to get in touch.

Hi OCBC, recently I applied for the Frank credit card after opening my 360 account . Then came a letter a week later telling me my application got rejected. What could be the possible reasons?
I just started work this year and worked for around 11 months to the point of application.

Frank is such a shitty credit card. Why would you want it?

Maybe they are not taking in new applicants liao haha. After all the measures to get rid of us, it could be that they plan to phase it out.
