Hi sorry to divert a bit ah, specs for specs SRP655 and SRP639 specs wise almost all same apart from physical dimensions, why is it that SRP655 is much more expensive ah? Both are Prospex and SRP639 even has a metal shroud leh.

Sent from 10 Buangkok View, Buangkok Green Medical Park using GAGT

If you explore around, you'll notice that Seiko use the same movements for watches that can range quite a bit in prices.

Like others have said, the Scallop is more expensive because it's 50th Anniversary Edition, and the ceramic shroud.

Ceramic is more scratch resistant compared to metal but more shatter prone. The metal shroud on the SRP639 is brushed though, so it will hide micro scratches better than glossy metal.

I have the SRP641 (black gold variation of SRP639) but I still went ahead and bought the Scallop :s13: My wrist is considered on the small size too but I believe the oversized Scallop will look good on it.

My take is that the presence of the Scallop will overwhelm any wrist size issue, unless of course if the wearer really is punny in build.

Exactly what I'm thinking! Now to start searching for a strap for it.... Maybe a Brady Sailcloth black with blue stitching?

The Eterna cost US$ 1,000 more

Prefer the oris. The eternal look like a model from aries gold that costz 200+ only
