Do you have problems downloading files of similar size? I remember there is some setting in the security about download limits

Hi,
Was sending a mp4 video, 29sec long, 6.5MB size... then receive this message "Unfortunately, Whatsapp has stopped".
Then tried another mp4 video 4minutes long, 4MB size... successfully sent.

Is there any setting in Note2 to resolve this?

Yep, there is. Go to Tools -> Downloads -> Tap the three dots on the top right -> Tap on Settings -> Change download size limit to Unlimited.

Can use but must format sdcard to FAT32, default exFat cant use

RM3 not released officially in SG yet. Only export sets.

Depends on what you need actually. Like expendable storage or not. Fingerprint reader...aluminium unibody.

Redmi note3 can not use external sd card. so I wont think about it.

1st time miui user, bought the note 2 from lazada, flashing the rom is harder than I thought, need to use the miflash tools instead the usual zip file that need to copy to the phone. As if it is not easy enough, the bat file included in the tgz to flash the phone is name wrongly.
One major drawback is the double tap to turn on the screen is not enable, probably have to wait for future stable rom update or use custom rom.
Overall comparing to my 1 yr old LG L24, note 2 has no stuttering or awkward pauses.

For me, who seldom play app games and using it for messaging, email, social media and photo shoot, it is a good buy for under $200 smartphone.

Yep, there is. Go to Tools -> Downloads -> Tap the three dots on the top right -> Tap on Settings -> Change download size limit to Unlimited.

i juz tried flash to the global rom, using the twrp method (http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=156838&extra=page=2&mobile=2).

but i suspect it is not a clean flash as previous installed apps (when on China rom) are still there, even my wifi & wifi password is still remembered on the phone.

may i know how do make a clean install of the global rom? many thks.

i did a flashlight comparison juz now between redmi note 3g & redmi note 2, using the default torch app.

it seems that redmi note 2 flashlight color slightly yellowish compared to the redmi note 3g which is normal white light.

anybody notice this?

In twrp, go to advanced wipe, select to wipe dalvik cache, data , cache. Then go back to main menu and install the rom.
