I think the earliest credit card in Singapore in AMEX follow by VISA card from Standard Chart.

I dont get it. So many card offering 6-7% permanently. And 1% rebate cards just use cimb infinite and world master all lifetime waiver. Dont see the reason for applying for this..

Think mainly because the 6-7% for other cards is for specific category only

True, but I suppose most people would sign up this card if they have bulk purchases to be made in the next 3 months, so the minimum spending may not be too much of an issue.

They only allow max payment of current bill + 2x months of current bill (total 3x of current bill) for advance payment over the counter.

IMHO this card 6% + 1.5% waive of forex fee should be used for online tran in foreign currency or oversea spend, no point use it for local spend, so many other cards can achieve around the same but without using up its first 5k quota.
Guys who will not use it for local spend know what I'm talking about...
