Discard cell phone

Anyone know how to discard a cellphone that has its LCD spoilt but still have data in it?

You could connect the phone its pc suite and do a flash of rom.

Alternatively.. everything works with brute force - like a hammer breaking the mainboard :D

You will end up 2 ways.
1. Cannot even power up.
2. Can power up but unable to enter password due to bad screen.

Encounter one user asking this at Samsung outlet. She has this problem with her s6. But un willing to handover for servicing due to sensitive data in the phone.

I stand corrected, it's not flashing via the PC suite but via something else (was wondering if there would be issues wiping due to password lock) ..

No idea how to flash the rom without the screen being lighted up eh

guess it will be a permanent paper weight?
