Whats the big news today that caused banks to get hit across the board???

The disastrous earning reports from major oil companies like Exxon and BP made people fear that smaller O&G companies will default on loans, which in turn will affect banks......

If one bank falls, then the contagion might spread and dominoes will start to fall......

I literally had to tape my fingers up to stop myself from scooping up some DBS and UOB these past few days. It doesn't help that Stockbot just added more OCBC and M1. Made me so gian to click 'Buy'.....
