Do u all bring along snack, bars or energy gel? Or simply eat roti prata along the way?

Depends on ride duration, intensity and time of day. If I do 50+ kms to and from CV at night then I drink plain water along the way and maybe eat some cookies at CV.

I nv hear actual crane bell before but from video, it sounds rather nice..only the size puts me off..

The Crane is quite large and, thus, produces a deep sound that can last quite a bit. Much longer than from the spurcycle bell from what I can tell.

How often u all oil your chains/gears?

I just cleaned the parts and oil them gao gao. If i do it every 2 weeks mean i will incur heavy cost in degreaser n oil. Any other cost efficient methods?

Sent from Xiaomi MI 4I using GAGT

i do it every 6 weeks or so if riding, if never ride then i dont.

my bottle of degreaser will last me at least 6m months. i oil if i feel the chain abit dry. or clean the chain.

hmm, normally i clean every 500km or so, if you just go out and ride a few rounds normally shouldnt clean

for my long group rides, dont eat at all, only eat when im done with the ride. race then i will eat.

Don't know leh. I see the lube that came with the bike abit grime magnet.

Anyway around 150km already when I cleaned. :s13:

Do I need to go back to the bike shop to do some checkup? I've read that new bikes should go back to the shop and get wheelset true-ing.
