Hi, I have a 4 bay NAS with 3x4Tb WD Red and was wanting to replace with 6Tb HDD. Any suggestion which 6Tb HDD to get?

Does anyone know how to change the raid from SHR to raid 0?

I'm currently using 2x4tb for SHR, but I'm reaching max. capacity soon.

I wanna change it to raid 0, so the storage is 8tb.

you do that. one harddisk spoilt and you will lose all 8tb of data

it's just many random movies. if it screws up then oh well.

but i dont wanna spend more to get another hdd

then is suggest you use JBOD, not RAID0. you are not going to get much performance using RAID0 on your movie. Use JBOD, just span your movies across 2 drives sequentially. lose one only one drive data going bonkers :)

you will have to recreate volume from scratch.

Choose custom instead.
