If you have enabled https you should disable http or config to redirect to https.

Anyway you just exposed your nas to us with no 2FA. You sure you don't mind people hacking into it?
I bet you haven't clicked on the link yet. Lol. You're welcome to try and hack it.

No, i don't have time to hack it - others might be keen. i am just recommending from my pov what you should do to mitigate it as well.

if for web hosting, is fine.

if to host your synology login page (nas webui config page), seriously - just go get a DDNS you can do the same thing and yes, don't point it to 443 or 80.

Improper way shut down will cause bad sector.. Happen to my red wd
Depends on if the HDD is being written or not. If not, there's no reason why sectors should be corrupted. Even in the event that it is being written, a power loss could derive only into a filesystem corruption, with data loss if files are left open or random data has been written in the process.

hi, in DSM, under power, there is a setting to schedule shutdown, and startup. I configured both, the system shutdown as per scheduled time, but the startup didn't happen on the scheduled time. I know it could because the system is already off so it won't be able to trigger the startup.

But then why there is still such setting? and in what case, this scheduled start up can work? Thanks

I also tried to set recently but failed coz there's a very small save button on the page which you need to click. Initially I thought it's like some other pages where you just change and it will auto apply.

Yes, need to click the Save button to save the changes. I disable the schedule whenever the NAS is doing data scrubbing.
